This is a new six part BBC drama series, set in Edinburgh. Kirsty plays the part of Josie Brodie, the estranged wife of ex-policeman, turned private detective, Jackson Brodie ( played by Jason Isaacs ). Burdened with trying to balance a heavy caseload with his personal life, Jackson fears that Josie might take their eight year old daughter to the other side of the world.

The series is based on the novels by Kate Atkinson.
