Kirsty appeared in Holby City for ten weeks during 2003 and played the part of psychiatrist Doctor Anita Forbes. One of her patients was a fellow consultant, Tom Campbell-Gore ( played by Denis Lawson ). A relationship developed between them and they eventually emigrated to America.
